The exterior of the former Robert C. Byrd Institute (RCBI) is seen in Huntington in 2020. Marshall University is in the early stages of planning a new location for the center, now referred to as the Marshall Advanced Manufacturing Center (MAMC), in the 4th Avenue Innovation District.

HUNTINGTON òòò½ÊÓƵ” Marshall University is looking to raise funds for a new location for its Advanced Manufacturing Centeròòò½ÊÓƵ™s headquarters in the Innovation District, according to Director of Communications Mike Friel.

The MAMC headquarters at 1050 4th Ave. houses administration offices, shared manufacturing spaces and classrooms for career skills programs.
