The U.S. Department of Agriculture announces a grant for redevelopment of the former ACF site to house the Marshall Advanced Manufacturing Center Welding and Robotics Training Center on July 11, 2023, in Huntington.

HUNTINGTON òòò½ÊÓƵ” Design work on the last remaining building of the former ACF plant, which will be preserved and renovated for the Marshall Advanced Manufacturing Center, is currently 95% complete.

Current design for the building known for its sawtooth roof is substantially finished and now out for review by the state fire marshal, Huntington fire marshal, building inspectors and others, Cathy Burns, executive director of the Huntington Municipal Development Authority (HMDA), the city agency that owns the former ACF property, said in a written statement to The Herald-Dispatch Wednesday.
